Castrol SRF

 

Superblue for me too. I haven't used any other options but no complaints. Got it from euro car parts for cheap.

 

depends what fluid you already have and why you need to change it, does it not have a high enough boiling point from the start? is it's performance not lasting as long as you need it too? some other sort of problem? or is it just due for a change?

 

RBF600 is fine. That's what we use in our race car in 6h endurance races. No problems.

 

Using Castrol SRF on mine.

 

I alternate between Superblue and RBF600. Much easier to bleed it through if its a different colour.

RBF600 is technically better, but does anyone really think they'll need that level of performance ...

Can I ask why you don't use the ATE TYP 200 when alternating as they are the same spec but different colours ?

I changed to this from that and noticed further improvement in pedal feel:

 

RBF660 is overkill even for most track use. Unless of course you get it at the price of RBF600...

 

I use Rbf600 ! never failed me even after whole day out on track in the summer, dont see how brakefluid can be overkill..

 

RBF600 has never failed me even when running 6 hour races in the summer. That's why RBF660 is overkill, especially as it's almost twice the price.

 

Castrol SRF if you can afford it, Motul RBF600 or ATE Super Blue if you can't.

People who went from super blue/RBF600 to SRF have said it was a marked improvement on track.

 

the latest spec oem 'low viscosity' fluid is bmw branded basf Hydraulan 404, if it was changed by a dealer in the last couple of years it would probably be this stuff
