Not far from this, you have to remove the a/c compressor first, lower engine mount, then you can remove the pan, then oil pick up tube, then you can take the rods apart. Not a hard job, if you know what you are doing

Does it require to set the car at a front end service mode in order to remove a/c compressor?
Also is there a need for extra support when removing lower engine mount or is the top mount enough to handle the load?

 

Yes the front end needs to come forward remove the ac compressor and then the sump

No extra support needed for the engine

The front doesn't have to come forward at all, just remove the lower mount and pull the engine rearward, the little wire on the compressor is a bit awkward, then just suspend the compressor while doing what you're doing. Are you putting new shells in while swapping bolts? Worth a look at the old.

 

Thanks ill try that if it saves me the hassle... By shells dont you mean the rod bearings?
