Hey a quick question:

Any idea what is involved replacing crankshaft rod bearings? Is it as simple as removing the oil pan , removing rod bolts, pushing the piston a bit up and then replacing them, pulling the piston down in place and bolting with new bolts?

thanks

The front doesn't have to come forward at all, just remove the lower mount and pull the engine rearward, the little wire on the compressor is a bit awkward, then just suspend the compressor while doing what you're doing. Are you putting new shells in while swapping bolts? Worth a look at the old.

My apologies, yes, I only read the bit about new bolts haha, sorry, thought you were just doing them alone
