Another symptom to add to the mix
I have noticed more frequently that my mini 03 cvt produces a low rumbling noise when put into drive from standstill. The noise corresponds to a dip in the revs from approx 800 revs to 500 which then picks up by itself and the noise goes away.
The same noise occurs when breaking to a standstill.
The rumbling can be felt from under the car possibly transmitted from elsewhere.
