Right, bare with people!

I used to code my old E46 for a few comfort options, i'd like to do so on the Cooper also.

Anyone know of a definitive list of whats possible on the LCI Coopers?

Id love to be able to leave my light switch on and never touch it again, being a motorcycle rider also its second nature to run lights 24/7 so its a must for car driving also.

NCS is ready, just awaiting a new cable. Is PA Sost an option on the Mini's?

Correct. Unfortunately I don't have auto lights/wipers

So I have to turn them off with ignition, not the end of world but would like to code it like the old E46

Well! Got it hooked up, downloaded the file from the car, but no matter which module i chose in NCSDummy, it kept saying it wasn't recognised.

So, modified the text file (not in NCSDummy) for Passenger auto up, and closing/opening of the windows with the remote.

Went to upload the file to the car and got an error, something along the lines of "Error in CABD" (error report is on other laptop).

However, I redownloaded from the car again, and it downloaded the modified file with my changes already made, but none of the changes have taken effect (dubious as to if they work anyway, as many people have said those options don't work).

So, I walked away before I did something dumb, but will revert back to the original file from the car and change something obvious (like double-flash hazards) just to prove if it's working or not.

Unless someone in or around Leeds/York want to earn a few Christmas beer tokens and do it for me before I turn my car into a paperweight

Forgot about this.

I've not done any more fiddling, I was waiting for a bit of warmer weather & more free time.

I think I got NCS with the lead, but as minicab suggested, it might be worth getting a list of things I want doing & get Lohen to do it next time I'm there.

Yes the lights can be coded... also you can code 'comfort access', which after unlocking and opening the drivers door, a double click of the unlock button will drop the drivers window. Makes access easier in tight spots.

You can also code just the drivers door to unlock with one click, or all doors to unlock with two clicks. This was a safety option to avoid car-jacking in some countries.

No idea how to do it, just know it can be done.

The early convertible R52s all opened the roof with the unlock button on the key (from launch in June 04). This was disabled late in 2005 though, but still can be coded to work.

30 mins labour at the dealers would have anything you want coded.
