Im looking to do mods on my r50 mini includine exhaust manifold intake manifold cat cam ported and polished head and catback system and bigger 50cc injectors.

I just want to know how stong or how much power the r50 internals can take.
Thanks in advance.

That's a lot of cash to blow on an R50. The early R50 JCWs with the polished head, exhaust and air filter were only 132bhp. You'll be laying out big chunks chasing small gains.

As above... R53 Cooper S, Catback and a pulley will see you near the 200hp mark.

With a few basic modifications based on my old car; 17% pulley, GRS intercooler, OBX manifold and catback needed me 220 bhp with the stock airbox. The same car when Ben owned it before me made 280 bhp with the above but with am RMW big valve head, RMW cam and 440c injectors and tune. The R53's internals will take 280 ish without any hassle for years. The R50 wont.

Cooper engine wont take anywhere near 200 in stock form. Cooper S engine will make 280 without too much work. For ITB's alone the cost would be 6k as you will need to rebuild the engine and fit a standalone ECU to run them, I know a couple of MINI's that have and the cost was much closer to 15k in the end for the engine and it was more along the lines of 250 bhp but they were build for FIA hillclimbs where the classes didn't allow for supercharging as otherwise they would have stayed S/C'd.
