So who has the highest mileage, and any problems known about?

What do you need to know exactly? I'm only just under 60k...

Common things include:

#Suspension bushes circa 30k
#Supercharger bypass valve anytime from 20k onwards maybe
#Crank vibration damper on pre-face (<04) cars circa 40k
#Clutch 50~80k sometimes earlier (mine 36k)
#Dualmass flywheel (chattery gearbox) from 20k onwards maybe
#Sump gasket 50~60k
#Timing chain tensioner ??k

...

i have seen some with over 88k, some have been terrible, but others have been looked after things replaced as needed and have been spot on. just wondering higher, 100k+

Mines on 70k now, think the suspension bushes are ready to be replaced but other than that its been fine :thumbup1:, the previous owner did replace the PAS pump but thats it, looking through the rest of the history its had nothing else needed

85K so far, and still reliable - which is no suprise given its a modern car.

Mines covered 72k but my engine only 2k :D

Oh but Mine has been FAR from reliable :( I've had everything going gone wrong I think.

Mine is sneaking up on 73k miles... goes better now than it did when at 30k miles.... still feels tight and smooth...

Most of the engine troubles were fixed under warranty, crank pulley was done as a present and was actually still ok, timing chain tension only cost ~£50.....

any other troubles have been related to the car being lowered.... bushes etc...

I also know of a gen 1 cooper on 154k and still going strong, and its gets a good thrashing, only just got back from the ring. Has had a gearbox, Power steering pump, bushes etc but still strong and pulls hard.

Im on 83k miles now, but ive had a few problems.

worn valve stem seals. New Head, valves, and seals.
Failed cooling fan unit. New unit fitted.
Failed sump gasket. New gasket fitted.
Rotten exhaust. Still rotten
Worn lower arm bushes. Still worn need to be done.

Having overcome these issues i now have a great little reliable car with 203.7WHP in very tidy condition.
