The GP core isn't what its cracked up to be IMO esp for the price. Most people picked them in 2010 or so when BMW were selling them new for £270. Loads of folk bought them as at the time it was half the price of a GRS and someone decided it was better than a GRS because of other reasons.
Truth is I'd have a GRS over one every time, I did on my Cooper S I happily paid double for the GRS at the time. We ran them on the dyno back to back and the GP only had a slight edge on recovery time under extreme circumstances.
If you pair a GRS or Airtec with a bigger bonnet scoop from Leap that Orranjie sell you will be far better off than with a GP item. Its also worth noting that Cooper S's have been known to spit spark plugs into intercooler cores. Expensive on a GP one...
