I've been banging on for months about hiring a track and having a dedicated MT day somewhere.

I had 15 Subarus and Evo's at the test track last weekend and I've got 30 cars next weekend. I stopped offering here as no-one will attend.

In the same way I can hire Blyton or Donington Park but there isn't the drive in the majority to actually turn up.

Shame really.

I am not sure about TA next year. Not been majorly happy with the organisers this year and as others have said - constantly getting dropped oil on track isn't all that fun!

Will need to see how things progress over the winter. I am doing Oulton Park, Donington and Croft before Xmas.

Would be a shame if you didn't compete after all the work that has gone into your car. But I understand if its being poorly run then best not to.

No need to suggest a clutch I don't need. I just feel for noobs when they come on and are led to believe they need to drop a wad of cash on something they don't need. I guess unless you make an effort to do your research that's your own problem. I'm starting to forget what my point was.

What do you expect on a not dedicated forum Jason?

Really,it's like putting up a thread about wheel colours...same fucking shit everytime!!

What do you expect on a forum with people paying for there banners?

To be honest never really seen your question about clutches..

But i guess i leave this at the door on my way out ..this thread is about TA 2013..... :) lol.

Lee what sort of price PP would an MT track day be?
Ranges from £50 per person to £250 per person depending on the venue.

I was hoping to do something like Donington Park but making it a MT day, get the traders up, have a bit of a show etc.

For a performance forum for Minis you don't read much about people taking their cars on track.

Quite a few go to Santa Pod once a year but that's it. Would be really nice to organise some private MT track days and hill climbs.
This is how I remember MT. You've changed maaaaaan.

I think there's a big assumption on this forum that you need big spec coilovers/brakes, 1million horsepowers, a roll cage and buckets + harnesses to go and have fun on track when in reality you just need a driving license and a relatively healthy car
^^ This.
