So this is how the 53 started in my ownership. A great head start from the previous owner with 210whp and some extra goodies like the carbon dash and GP bumper

It didn’t stay like this for long before I ordered some bits

Next up was to ditch the bullets. I ran Imoals on my last 56 so I wanted to pick up another set for this one. Swiftly got them powder coated and wrapped up

Looks really nice, the only thing I’m not sure about is the lack of black arch trim on the bumper

So where did those nice sparco seats go?

You either love or hate that trim or lack of on the GP bumper haha.

Good spot on the Recaros. The previous owner was keeping those but I used them until I found some replacements

Dropping the car off at Jason’s on Sat and it’ll be there for a while...

I do some work for AEM in CA so I managed to grab one of their CD-5 Carbon dashes along with the PCP harness for the Link. Looks like a decent bit of kit and a nice change from the usual.

I’ve also been working with Simon R on a 3D printed bracket instead of using the metal factory bracket from the cluster. We’re not sure how it’ll hold up in an accident...

A few more revisions to go.
