Popping in a catback on an 05 r52 and need to remove the "tension struts" - stabilizing bars running across the rear to mid of car. Anyone have torque specs?? MINI parts catalog has them listed under body. I've look through my Bentley and only reference I can find is while removing the fuel tank, nothing in rear suspension, body, or exhaust. Kind of at a loss...

"Important!
Vehicles must not be driven without the cross reinforcement.
Driving without the cross reinforcement may damage the vehicle body."

How does that work seeing as 90% of us don't have them lol
I have no idea esp since it's there's not a lot of "Driving Miss Daisy" But on the convertible? It's not like you have a roll cage
