Hi I have had a fair bit of work done on my r53 including 15% supercharger pulley +3% crank pulley 550 injectors and all other work needed to allow this. I bought a 20% supercharger pulley but was told it would be too much for the car to handle, is this right.

Absolutely. Your current combination of 15% charger and 3% crank is too much as well. You need to get the car properly mapped as it will be running lean at high revs.

The Mini R53 ECU is not like modern cars and does not auto compensate. It runs to a predefined map.

The -20% s/c pulley would be too much on it's own, let alone with a +3% crank pulley, remap or no remap. Unless of course the remap has a 5000rpm rev limiter 😄
Damn ok thanks sorry I am distrusting of mechanics had slot of bad experience in the past. On the remap that was done he programmed to add slot more fuel at 5000 so I guess about 4500 it looses power does that sound right spot spots all over back end of car
