Well I thought it’s about time I introduce myself. Been on here for a while as a lurker just getting info etc as my wife has had a modified R50 for a few years now.

However, I’m now the proud owner of an R53 which I acquired a few weeks ago.

So I’m Steve and from just outside Coventry.

The R53 came pretty well modified but I have a mighty long list of things I want to do with it but first up has been maintenance to make sure it’s as healthy as possible.









Mods:
Team Dynamics Pro Race 3s wrapped in Nankang NS2s
Direnza cat back exhaust
Scorpion manifold and decat
Modified air box to accept K&N cone filter
Magnecor 8.5mm leads
NGK Iridium plugs
Rear seat delete with home made panel
Stainless steel rear strut brace
OMP steering wheel
Quiafe gear knob
Lohen flat door panels

Think that’s everything off the top of my head.

So far have done an engine oil and filter change, fuel filter change, the plugs and leads were fitted by me too. Next up I have a supercharger oil kit on the way to refresh that then it’s on to the coolant system.

So far loving it. My wife’s R50 is fun to drive but this thing is another level!

Welcome, looks a nicer little motor and good start with the mods it's got. Good idea with sorting the fluids out.
How was the the fuel filter change?
