Hello Mini fans!

New member to the forum here, but long time fan of the Mini brand and current proud owner of a 2007 and 2015 Cooper S convertible.

Pleased as I am about having two Mini's, apparently the wife and bank balance are less so - hence my need to join this awesome community and advertise my beloved '57 Cooper S - as it proved to be too difficult finding a website to sell the wife... :D

So, preamble over, let me tell you about the car...

  • '57 reg
  • Pepper White
  • Black leather interior
  • 66,700 miles on the clock
  • Excellent condition
  • Freshly refurbished black alloy wheels
  • 3 additional spare tyres if buyer wants them
  • Cared for ownership
  • Located in S21, near Sheffield
  • £3950 or near offer
Basically I bought the car from a specialist Mini dealer in Manchester back in August 2019 and at the point of purchase, after driving it home, the car failed and had to be returned to the garage on a trailer. It was determined that an issue with the timing chain was at fault, so it had a full timing kit installed and returned back to me. Since then, it has run perfectly all the time, with regular oil and water changes being undertaken, and always using "proper" fuel from a reputable branded petrol station (no supermarket rubbish put in this one!).

The roof works perfectly and is regularly cleaned and re-sealed, the car is regularly washed and polished and black plastics tended and revived - basically it's been my pride and joy, and has been looked after accordingly.

As mentioned the colour is Pepper White with the black bonnet stripes, and the car has the chrome pack from new, with further detailing in terms of Union Jack wing mirror covers, rearview and speedo covers and Union Jack mats in the cup holders - plus Mini under door lights and Mini central locking emblems - each on their own not particularly exciting, but we think they make a really nice little improvement to the details of the car.

TLDR

I love the car, its in great condition, it looks awesome, and I'm wanting to sell it for around £3950. If you are interested, call or text me on 07495 799 522, and you are welcome to come take a look :)

Thanks for reading folks - help me avoid getting divorced and take this beauty off my hands (or buy my car, whatever).

Paul

Thanks man much appreciated :) Good to know the price is in the right ballpark too. I certainly don't want to be greedy on it, so I'm happy to price to sell and willing to have some wiggle room too. Its so hard with a car like this, as its one thing to consider its worth, another thing all together to think what its worth to me, with the love factor included :D

If you post a picture of your wife we can decide if selling the Mini is the right choice ;)
Trust me, Mini wins and its way less maintenence and more fun too :D

Hey folks,

The Mini has now sold, thank you everyone for your interest.

Damn I'm sad to see it go... hopefully the nice family that bought it enjoy as much as we have.
