Yup...Thats the problem from AEM w/m doesnt have failsafe if the valve fail to inject.! And yes indeed you [email protected] up!

I'm sure youdont care for noise on a track but what about outside track. Also when you are in "war mode" im sure you are not going to hear the pumps failure as well.

As for the filling up....I said the same and who cares....But that meth babe runs out much quicker than i thinking and i have already fill it up 4 times for the last month and car is only for fun drive and not daily. BE CAREFUL also not to store your meth in ANY used canister/tank etc no matter if you have clean it up for 10924819082457 hours.

Well before visiting the machine shop.... I had to make a gathering photo. Well... fingers crossed. Its the only time someone else is going to do something to my Mini without me messing in the process!!! So stressed!!!

AEM meth controller positioning plus an on/off kill switch. Sport button was relocated when the coolerworx shifter was installed. Now I must find a place to position the AEM LED indicator... it must be visible enough

Installed the AEM fuel pump. Some minor tweeking to make it fit.
On the downside, there is no quick fit connector so I had to use parts from another pump to built a connector. That plastic hose wont last inside the tank so I used hard plastic hose like the ones used inside the tank. Another thing I didnt like was the filter mesh which is on the lower part, on the contrary OEM filter is running along side the hole tub which I think its way better. Time will tell...hope wont have any fuel starvatiom symptoms.

New setup will demand a safer way to keep the boost checked during all conditions. A Greek product is here to offer the most by limiting boost levels by gear, by rpm, by speed. EGT and AFR can be monitored via obd or external probes and maximum values can be shown at all times. There is more in it that meets the eye. I will try to use the most of it.

And its finally in! Cranking to get oil pressure was interesting. I didnt prime the oil pump before fitting it so I shite myself when no oil was squirting through the filter !! Eventually everything was ok pressure wise. Next step is energizing fuel pump to give it a go and bring it to life prior to doing the rest of the works.

Currently fabricating a 3inch downpipe. Aircon will stay... even if I delete it later, it was a personal goal to keep it cause I was told that I couldnt get it done! I will be throwing the wastegate exhaust tube inside the dp for lots of reasons. Looks great in person tbh.

As per title....project evolves. To do list....O water lines from and to the turbo , a bigger radiator cooling fan, expansion tank relocation. And ready for start up procedures.

Love it! Looks very compact too. When do you think you'll get it running? What ECU and map will you be using?

Hoping to get it on the road in 2 months due to a lot of work load. Stock ECU until its breaks in. We ll see if it holds and then throw more money

Spal 16" high volume radiator fan. Rest of the plastic shroud had to be trimmed in order to gain space for heat management due to turbo and downpipe dimensions. The turbo hoses as seen in the photo were used on the previous setup... custom made ones will be routed differently.

Looks promising. Do you think the hood (bonnet?) will clear the exhaust tubes, or will you have to do some sheet metal work around the air scoop?

I just completed a clutch replacement --- engine in place, just dropped the tranny. Had to use service mode to move the engine even a little bit 'cause the WG linkage was interfering with the radiator housing. Your external WG eliminates that problem, but considering all the other SERIOUS mods you've got, expect future maintenance difficulties. Yes, the results will be worth it, just be prepared for usually easy maintenance to be not-so-easy anymore.

Keep up the good work, and be patient --- don't rush it.

Bonnet doesnt have clearing issues because the manifold is designed for a mini with a stock bonnet. Mine (carbon) doesnt even have internal structure at that area. As for the maintenance I know its going to be a nightmare due to unavailable space. I already tried to take out the downpipe with the radiator fitted and I had to dismantle the oil return line !!! Thank god all the exhaust parts are vband connected and they give me some freedom of movement.

All set and ready to roll. Road friendly allignment and off we go for the engine breaking procedures. Load and mild boost application to help the springs settle.

Hello! How is the break in procedure going? Have you put much boost through it yet? Any new Dyno reports?
