PRICE REDUCED!!! Now £2500
Makes a cracking tow car
Silver E60 2005 BMW 520D SE
198,000 miles
Full Service History
4 Previous owners (including myself)
Last serviced – 19th October 2016
MOT Expires – 5th April 2017 (No advisories)
HPI clear – I have a full extensive car check from when I bought it
I purchased this car on 16th May 2015 with 180,000 on the clock as my daily driver & it’s not missed a beat. I’ll admit I got stung & needed to get a new clutch & flywheel fitted in June 2015 but all that means is that it’s one less thing for the next owner to worry about. Both the clutch & flywheel have a 2yr warranty so that continues until June 2017. Having only done around 17,000 miles on it though it is practically still new.
Since purchasing the car in May 2015 I’ve had a few additions added to it:
28th May 2015 - Westfalia Detachable tow bar fitted with 13 pin electrics & 7 pin adapter from PF Jones - £330.00
6th June 2015 – Genuine BMW iPod connector fitted by M Style - £285
11th June 2015 – Genuine OEM clutch & flywheel fitted with gearbox oil change - £693.08
11th July 2015 – New front discs & pads. New rear discs & pads - £163.78
7th December 2015 – New front wipers (Bosch Aero) - £29.40
So you can see other than the clutch it’s been just general maintenance & items that I’ve wanted to add myself.
Tow bar:
I must mention the tow bar as these can sometimes put people off. I wanted only the best & something that you would never ever know was there when detached, as even with some tow bars you can still see there is one. The tow bar detaches vertically, the electrics tilt up under the bumper, it has a lock & key, there are no cuts to the bodywork & when not in place you honestly would never know. I have an Erde 122 trailer that I used for some tip runs etc… & that’s the only time I really used it. All other times the tow bar lived in the boot & the bung was in place to stop any dirt getting in where the tow bar goes. If you want more info on the tow bar it is model no. 303294 on the PF Jones website. https://www.pfjones.co.uk/5-series-saloon-e60-2004-detachable-tow-bar-1.html. I will supply everything you need to reverse this & remove it if it’s not something you need or want.
Car Spec:
ABS, Traction control, Electric Adjustable Sport Seats (I’ve never seen these seats in another E60 520d), Leather interior, Six speed manual gearbox, Alloy wheels Front & rear parking sensors, Cruise control, Isofix system, Alarm & immobiliser, Power steering, trip computer, CD player, iPod connectivity, Air conditioning, Electric windows, Electric mirrors, Auto dimming rear view mirror, Multi-function steering wheel, Auto wipers(Rain sensors), auto lights, Headlight washers, Adjustable steering wheel, Metallic paint, Folding rear seats, Ski hole in rear seats (see Picture)
Those that know me & know this car know how good this one is so please no silly offers.
The car is now parked up & going nowhere so is available immediately.
Price - £2500 with 18” BMW wheels. These have been stored away indoors since August last year & are now back on the car with good tyres. See pictures.
Options:
£500 - 20” Cades wheels & tyres (Federal SS-595 EVO). See picture.
£150 - Eibach Pro Spring Kit (New & never opened. £250 purchased from M-Style)
I've done as best as I can to show any imperfections in the close up photos.
