The end result does look very nice. With what did you clean the parts before painting?
1- Oven Cleaner + toothbrush
2- Soapy water + toothbrush
3- Wire brush
4- rince and dry
6- mask
7- brake cleaner
8- VHT wrinkle plus paint, 3 wet coat
9- heat gun the thing until it wrinkles
10- Profit

I underestimated how painful wrapping a manifold was..
Not too impress with my job, but I think it's ok for a first try.

Oh And that goes in the Mini on monday 🎉

Difficult to wrap these properly. Be careful wrapping stainless it usually causes them to crack
Looks sweet. We need to hear it!

I'll get something better than my phone to record it as it's so loud that the poor microphone can't keep up..

I'm still on a break-in map, so no more than 3000-3500 RPM for at least 2000km.
The engine struggle to keep up at IDLE, and stall a lot for now, it's really not fun to drive around.
After that I'll go get a real good dyno tune
