Removal of front (Middle Grill)

Hi Guys,
So decided to buy a R53 aero grill set, the middle grill (little one) has already been sanded down so it is ready to be fitted to the bumper. How do I get the old grill out without removing the bumper, is it a yank as hard as you can job or is there technique to it..

Help is appreciated in advance.

Masking tape on the bumper then use a butter knife to prise the old one out - its clipped in so just work your way around it gently

Hey Looster, I'm looking to do the same, is this one of the pre-modified grilles off ebay? With using Tiger Seal is it still reversible later on?

If you fit it properly then i would say thats a no.

There is a moulded fin on the bumper thats needs removing to make the middle grille fit properly. It makes no difference how much you cut away from the JCW grille, if you dont remove this fin then the JCW grille will not fit flush and it will look wank.
