Recent R53 convert

Good Afternoon guys,

Recently bought myself an R53 cooper s from my boss at work. 120K on the clock so it's been well used.

Hoping to get some advice as to what to do with it next. It's had some work done. AFAIK it's had 15% reduction pulley, lightweight flywheel, EPAS pump was replaced, new radiator and reservoir bottle, dave f conversion, airtec intercooler. I myself have given it a good service - plugs and leads, cleaned dave f filter, oil and filter.

Was hoping for advice on what to do next for mods/service please?

From what I hear, supercharger may need a rebuild but I can't find anyone who does it?

I'm a bit handy myself so have started buying parts for R56 brake upgrade, but s/chargers are totally new to me!

Look forward to talking with you guys :)

I have attached a couple pics of her for you

Welcome, brake upgrade to R56 S ones are a good idea as the standard one are shit.
A good set of coil overs and decent non run flat tyres will transform the car, also it might be a good idea to have a health check done on it.
Thanks Spidermonkey.

Any advice on the supercharger service at all? I can't find anywhere that offers a service/rebuild unless you remove it yourself and send it to them, and as I live in a flat with no garage I don't really wanna leave my car semi stripped outside for a couple of days.

I hear if they go wrong it can be fatal to the car...

I don't know about the charger, you could try 1320 or Lohan to see if you could drive it to them and they could service it or try buying a low mileage or new (they do come up now and again) or buy a 2nd hand one and send it to Kavs or even GTT (flame suit on) to be serviced/recoated.
Bokers has a facelift brand new supercharger I think..

It would be the teflon coated rotors, so slightly better than the one you currently have on the car!

Welcome anyway!
Welcome, my supercharger is currently on 102k and I am going to be changing the oil in the supercharger this month and just hope it holds on.
SimTaylor17 is this something you are going to do yourself? I really want to try it but it seems like it could be a headache, especially if it doesn't go smoothly, and as I have no garage or even driveway, and this is my only car, if something goes wrong I'll be stuffed!

Might be worth shelling out for a new one and just replacing it altogether then...
Guys . It's not the oil in the nose that goes wrong but the oil for the water pump gears which leaks into the charger through the seal and then they run dry. The teeth then grind away as they are small gears and your water pump will slowly stop moving water around. That's when you have trouble. Most of the rebuild kits don't address that as getting the gears off isn't something you'd want to try at home !
I'm considering starting a supercharger exchange scheme with it fully refurbished.

I used to be good friends with a guy who did all the Chargers
