I'm looking for an R53 Body Control Module (BCM) Part # 6434293 - see pic below:

I'm not sure if there are interchangeable part numbers between pre/post facelift models but is Part # 6935645 the same thing from a pre-facelift R53?

Hi folks, still looking to find out if there are any other interchangeable parts for these - so-far I've seen a few that include different hardware & software versions, some with a plastic cover & some that look metaly.

Any idea how I can find this out?? :( My Mini's been out of action over 2 months now & I'm gagging to get back into it!!

They work straight out of the box . Central locking via the key button will need programming. Some options may not work , depends what was in the car it came out of I think . I put a brand new one in mine, aircon and rear window demise stopped working, and the central locking on the key button. Still works when you use the key in the door . I have no dealer near me so coding is not an option, I can live without the central locking, the aircon is a bit of a ballache though !

I am considering a 2nd hand one to try and get my aircon back ..

I do have a spare facelift bc1 control unit if you need it
That'd be fantastic Madnick, thanks! How much do you want for it posted to Dublin? :)

Has anyone got a spare section of loom or knows how to get a new black plug for the loom that connects to the black point on the BCM? Need one of these too.

I'm kinda lucky that there's a Mini specialist I've been in-touch with in in Cork (a fair distance from me but manageable) that can reprogram it for me - apparently it takes up to 5 hours for the full reprogramming to do?? :S
