Evening guys,
Need a bit of advice and I've been trawling the net all evening... I have a noise commonly referred to as the death rattle on a 52 plate R53, replaced the cam chain tensioner this evening but it hasn't fixed the problem... So now I'm looking to replace the guides but I have a few questions...
From looking the at the diagram
It looks as though the rear guide, the metal one found here will slide in nicely from above (after removing the tensioner again) but that pin on the lower part of the front plastic guide looks like it could be a ball ache unless the guide slips on top of it? Kinda difficult to tell...
As I say I have had a good Google Fu session but it hasn't bought anything up and I could do with ordering parts fairly soon...
Is it just a case of removing the rocker cover and getting stuck in or is it going to be much more involved?
Any help, advice or pictures etc hugely appreciated
