Here is a quick guide to making an effective project thread for your car. We want to make it easier for people to read about your car, see how its evolved and what you have planned for it.

1) Thread title must be related to your car/personality, the use of silly words will be moderated.

2) Give a brief description of your car when you purchased it and maybe the reasons for doing so with a stock picture.

3) List all the current mods that you have done to the car.

4) List all the mods that you have planned for your car.

5) When posting pictures, its always more effective to host them on a site such as photobucket/flickr/imageshack and then copy the IMG code of the image and post it into your post. Uploading pics through attachments does not look/work as well as separate hosting and posting the IMG codes.

6) Create links to important posts in your project thread of major updates so anyone reading the first post of your project can easily navigate to important/cool aspects of the work that you have done to your car.

7) Regularly maintain and update your opening post to reflect recent changes/updates you have made to your car.

The reasons for keeping a well maintained project thread are for the following reasons:

We want to make it easier for guests/new and existing members to be able to read/catch up on your car and see how its going and what has been done.

We also want to try and make the forum look structured instead of many random threads that are confusing and time consuming to find the answers.

It also allows us to easily promote your project if we showcase it on social sites such as MTs Facebook page.
