Very nice! I dont know how your build has slipped under my radar
Thanks!

I don’t know why you didn’t saw it. Maybe because I don’t put often updates? I’m not from the UK but from Holland. But as here are many international MINI lovers I post also here to share the findings and the result. Hope other MINI drivers can find some inspiration as I did also on the international fora. I know people like more Instagram or Facebook and the fora are not used that often but a building topic of a car you can’t follow better than a forum in my optic.

The pistons was a lucky story. I told my engineer to order the 1:10 and something went wrong in the order and they supplied 1:10.5. This is stock GP2/JCW.
So we needed to send them back. Oooh you want lower compression than we can supply something special.... and they offered the wiseco special Coated 1:9.3. This will give the tuner more space a higher RPM.

I saw the turbo we are going to install gave on a stock engine 310bhp.... so really curious what it will bring to my car...

I see I was forgot to mention: We needed to upgrade the bottom section as well... already 0,4mm oval.. So Darton sleeves was the solution...

I'm glad this was resurrected, it's been a thrilling read you have a lovely car and you've done a great job on it.
Also a project thread that could lead to many extra modifications I wasn't going to do 🤭😂

That is how it started with me as well..... reading fora about a lot of modded MINI's which I liked.... and combine this into your own car....

I forgot the updated on the audio system in the meantime we did.... To stock output of the GP2 radio is shit... the upgrade on the audio I did was already a great step forward but still it missed something... So I went back to the car audio specialist and we installed a Mosconi DSP unit.... it's installed and for what I have heard it sounds great..... I still didn't hear it myself as the GP2 is a Martijn Schols his garage. Hope to visit and listen in 2 weeks time.

Hello
How is osg clutch holding up?
Is it double plated, right?
Could you please post your feedback about it.
Thanks

Clutch is holding fine. It's the STR2C Twin Plate w/Soft Diaphragm, Release Assy. Incl. It's a very strong clutch!!!

An other option is the would be the TTV clutch....

But if you put in a new clutch go for a LSD as well!!! that's a real great improvement.

No code has to be inserted here.

Yeah, I have all of this, osg lsd and ttv clutch package.
I installed rpm power monster turbo kit cp pistons and carrillo rods and all other stuff
I am a little worried about ttv organic plate, after bedding it in it should make more than 500 nm of torque.
That’s why I did ask you about the clutch.
How it is in stop and go traffic?
Like on/off switch?

aaaah Nice upgrades.... specially the RPM turbo kit... If I needed to do it again I would go also that route!
The clutch is not real on/off... quite good to drive during a road trip. We drove the NC500 in the UK with it.
