So i was at Oulton Park this weekend for Mini Fest.

The weather was sunshine all the way. So plenty of sunburn but still got some pictures.

Ive never shot cars racing around the track before so didnt know how they would turn out. Let me know if you have some tips!

Then trouble struck when Grace Williams came spinning off the track towards me. I was petrified. Got covered in glass and shrapnel but still got a pic..

Not a bad effort for first time, I am one of those guys on the other side of the fence that will probably have got in your way and I was very close to the Grace accident. For side on shots think about lowering shutter speed, once you have mastered a good panning photo there isnt much else that can go wrong :)

Here is a link to my photography page, not many up from the weekend yet but will be by tomorrow.

The classic's and Scottish Cup were so much more interesting than the Challenge stuff, proper racing.

Was stood right next to you when Grace Williams crashed! Was quite a hard hit.

We aim to please

Ian Munro took a sore one in to the Armco on the other side on the run down to cascades.
