It's a fair point. The price you are asking could buy several R53's.
In Finland we have a saying that the crazy one is not the one who asks but the one who pays.
There is some JCW tax on R53 parts and everyone has to answer themselves if the parts are worth it or not.

The parts i am selling are not necessary for those who daily drive their cars nor are they necessity parts that cars can’t operate without. Nobody needs to buy what i am selling. I am not selling spark plugs or wheel bearings that would hinder anybody from operating their MINI. I am selling Bling. Do not buy Bling if you can’t afford it, but you can’t go into the Bling store and tell them their Bling is expensive. Actually you can, but they’ll just tell you not to buy their stuff. Simple.
These parts are accessories, and some of them are very rare, others less but still very uncommon.
The parts i am selling would look the part and might add value on a GP1 or a loved R53 or R52S. Some owners see value others don’t, and that’s 100% fine.
Nobody needs an expensive pair of pants, one can be dressed for 30-40$. Still some would pay 1k for a pair.
It’s their decision.
