Thanks! :)

I also order some stuff from 1320/fleabay/stealer to enhance the handling:
- SuperFlex control arm bushes
- SuperFlex rack & pinion bush
- PowerFlex front ARB bushes
- OMP strutbrace in black
- cabrio braces
- R56 JCW rear ARB (18.5mm) + new bushes
- ARB connecting rods
- Eibach camber arms

Will be fitting all that together with Daveke... :cools:
Couldn't get my hands on a JCW-ARB, so went with a 20mm Whiteline instead. I also got both inner/outer ball joints and both steering joints, figured I might as well change those while I'm at it. :)

Tiny update: finally fitted the correct screws to the MFSW-spokes and the JCW-insert. In case anyone need them, correct item number is 32306762922, to be fitted using a T15 Torx.

Yesterday I took a 2-hour drive to a MINI-specialist to check/replace some stuff for our MOT... Took the German Autobahn A31 on the way there

We planned to mount/replace the following stuff
- SuperFlex control arm bushes
- SuperFlex steering rack bush
- balljoints
- steering ball joints
- camberarms
- Whiteline 20mm rear swaybar
- OMP strutbrace

Got the car up in the air, and both front wheels idd had some play. Inspected everything and turned out that all joints and bushes looked just fine. The control arm bushes seemed to have been replaced quite recently:

Looked a little further, and it turned out both topmounts had some play and the adjuster on the right hand side KW-coilover had worked itself loose

Removed the coilovers to have a closer look:

Used an impact wrench on the topmounts, and it turned out they would turn almost a full rotation tighter:

Re-mounted them:

After that all play in the front wheels was gone, so we decided to not drop the subframe, and safe the bushes for another time. Took the car to a local garage for the MOT, and it sailed through just fine. :)

After that we started work on the rear side. Don't get fooled by the Alta-box, it's a 20mm Whiteline swaybar with new stock endlinks:

I chose to start at the middle setting (not fixed yet here):

Also mounted the SPC/Eibach camber arms:

I got to play with air tools:

Stock vs new:

New:

Fixed some small stuff (exhaust mount hitting the heat shield, door rubber at the A-pannel), spun down the rear coils a little more and fitted the strutbrace:

Took the long way home through some decent twisties and was grinning all the time. The fatter ARB really transforms the handling, much more neutral/playful than before, great mod!

How the MINI is sitting right now:

Also took home the Cooper S rear bumper that was waiting for me over there, I'll start on the exterior soon! :D

Had the car aligned this afternoon, the rear was set to L -0.24 and R -0,42 after our guesstimated initial setup, they're now both set to -1.3. Also checked the front, and after that spent the whole afternoon hitting various local twisties... :D

Today I've owned this little car for exactly one year (and about 24,000km), and I still love it. It's proven to be comfortable/economic enough for my work-related trips and it's awesome to hoon around in. The thicker rear sway bar has proven to be a great addition, had some sliding fun on a roundabout last night... :D

The exterior still looks a lot like ^^, buy I think it deserves more after 10 years of service, so I'll start working on that. :)
