Hello , I have a 2009 r55s N 14 since 10 years

I started track days at the end of 2003 , i use the r55 for daily and 6 or 7 track day by year ( not for competition )
With k03 Loba270 turbo , it was a very good turbo ( réactivity ) but not on the big circuit ( Le Mans , Magny Cours )
I tested after a k04 Mambatek , it s not a good part , bad réactivity, valve axis deformation waste gate during the first trackday
After i tested a k04 hybrid by Hpturbo , good performance (287ch) , but same problem than Mambatek, i think it s the same origin for the waste gate valve

I want a good configuration with a good fiability
After see the Project of Thepenl and Arke , i bough
Collector and 308 gti turbo
Decata 70mm Bastuck
RCZR heat protection turbo
308 dump support
Bloc guard
GM injector


My Project is in progress , modification in progress for the turbo ( new intake wheel)
I have not at this Time
pistons (RV 9.5)
connecting rods forged
Exhaust 70 or 76mm

Eibach camber plate

356MM XYZ brakes with Rc6 ( i tested DS Uno (nice) , PBS Prorace ( nice ) , EBC Yellow (bad
JCW rear brake with PBS Prorace
R888 , A052 , Cup2 tyre for trackday and Michelin PSS for daily

My last track days with the Hpturbo k04 hybrid , JCW collector , Scorpion decata 70mm & Manic soft

just the morning ... tyre degradation at 14h00 ..... old R888 , i think just too old



but the waste gate gate valve Hpturbo didn't accept the hight t°c .... axis deformation , boost can't go to 1b45 ( mode 3 Manic)

see PS indicator at right .... bad value


i hope will haven't this problem with the 308 GTI270 turbo

Will you share your source for this "closed deck insert"? I'm interested in what's involved installing it --- DIY, machine shop? Press-fit? Need to skim the block surface after install?




Please share with us, what's involved in connecting these injectors, wiring, fuel rail, and head. What other parts are required?
Normaly for the injector , it s plug and play
At this Time i don t know if i can run 200km for go to my preparator ( i have a Manic stage3 soft , but not adapted for the 308 gti270 turbo)

I'm interested in this too. Where do you get these from? Is it a press fit prior to machining the bores and skimming the block? ie does it crimp the top of the liner slightly during install?

For once more it is obvious that most of the hybrids are all show and cannot cope with a track used mini, go big or go home. Nice Mini. Keep up the good work.

Can be read at my build. You just need to cap the plastic pins. Other then that plug n play. The software needs to be modified of course.

As long as you don't floor it the turbo want be a Problem. They fuel injectors can be swapped in like 20minutes. You can do it at your tuner.
