Hi guys my partner owns Mini Countryman all 4 2.0 SD 2012 model 74000 miles suddenly started using lot of oil no sign of leak I would welcome comments thanks neil.

Does it smoke? Running normal - performance and fuel economy?
Have you been underneath it?

Yes runs normal no smoke it’s got engine guard on it so can’t see no oil on floor after standing even couple of days

Take that off and youll see a wet engine.

Ok is it a common leak i.e sump gasket oil solenoid ?
