Hi all. I brought this great Mini Cooper S back in March 2016 after searching a long time with something that had all the options I wanted. As you can see by the below the car seems to have almost every factory fit option, assuming that it was one of the last R53s rolling off the production line and options were on offer lol! It’s been a great car for me as you can see from the mileage increase, I hardly use it. Here is the information:

Price - £3,200 ono

Basic Spec

Black
06 Plate (Registered 20/03/2006) – Personal plate in process of being removed
93,300 miles
MOT until 24/05/2020
Service history as follows

  • 27/06/07 – 10,039 miles – BMW Mini Stevenage
  • 02/07/09 – 26,220 miles – BMW Mini Stevenage
  • <Gap in book – no idea why>
  • 18/07/13 – 58,294 miles – BMW Mini Stevenage
  • 23/05/15 – 74,651 miles – Done by previous owner
  • <I brought it>
  • 23/03/16 – 83,799 miles – BMW Mini Chelmsford
  • 28/03/18 – 88,435 miles – BMW Mini Chelmsford
Factory Fit Options

Recaro Seats – Heated
Harman Kardon sound system with disc changer (see note below on ICE)
Sat Nav
Reversing Camera
18” JCW Alloys – Referb in Black – Running Falken ZE914 tyres with loads of tread
Centre arm rest
Heated front screen
Aero skirts
Limited slip diff
Cruise control
Climate control

Modifications I have made

Orranje R53 Stealth Cold Air Intake
17% pulley kit, inc BKR7EIX plugs
JCW exhaust
GRS Intercooler, inc new internal air scoop
Head unit replaced with Pioneer MVH-X560BT using HK Enabler. This head unit has BT Audio and Handfree built in (with mic)
Stainless style fog lights as the originals had rusted
Updated sat nav maps (2016)
All the original bits will come as part of the sale

So that’s all the great stuff I think, but as you expect from a 13 year old car there are some bits I need to mention so I have a clear conscious 

- Paintwork is in fair condition considering its age. No significant/obvious damage
- Wheels have a few kerb marks
- The last MOT highlighted some areas which could need looking at – pic included
- Ever since I have owned it the orange engine light appears about twice a year for a few days before going off again. BMW have said “it’s just a mini thing” so I just ignore it
- The bonnet release cables could do with replacing as they have stretched and hence takes a few pulls to get it open

I have probably missed something but would welcome any questions or checks of the car. Thanks for reading

I'll swap a 1 owner 29k Aprilia RSV100R Factory Cat N (lowside only) repair for it, or a Mercedes Benz 2002 CL500 (W215), or a 1 owner 12k Ducati 848 Evo Corsa SE Cat N (forward roll over the bars only) but that would mean cash to me ;O)

Thanks for the offer but as tempted as I am I don't need another motor vehicle :driving:

Thanks! Been a great car to own but it just sits on the drive for days now! Been as honest as possible in the advert so hopefully someone will grab a bargain.

The chrome trim in the front bumper is from a pre-facelift car, as it's not smooth, plus it looks like there's a piece missing.

The chrome trim in the upper grille (bonnet) is smooth like a facelift, which yours is ...

Interesting - thanks for helping. No idea why it’s different on mine to be honest. I would welcome all checks/inspections as I have a clear conscience.
