Use of a normal hair drier (I have a cheap ebay jobbie for the task) between coats to dry/cure/harden the paint will help longevity.

As does warming the paint & article being painted.

I get told off for using “Jobbie” for things like this. Wife’s Scottish…

The blackout continues.

Also fixed (superglued) 6 broken clips on upper grille strip. Doesnt feel like its going to fall off anymore.

you won’t be disappointed with the teins, I’ve set mine at 20mm from the bottom thread measuring mark to the bottom of the securing ring and I think it looks just right, not too low, not too high, also set the rebound 8 clicks off the stiffest setting, again, feels alright

I’ve got a bit of a knock on the drivers side now and again but it may need new top mounts (or I’ve left an OEM washer off as I found one on the drive yesterday!)

i blacked out my chrome rear bezels with plasticote and it seems to be standing up quite well after 10 months, I wrapped the front grille surround with some cheapo Amazon wrap which again seems to be doing the job, I too had to glue all the clips as well

A carbon G-wing would look nice on it too, might just have one going spare when my R53 goes

I got silver projects to go in the R53, shame I’m selling it now though, unfortunately they won’t fit the R56 or I’d be putting them on that asI’ve probably got to change mine on the 56 too as one of them is knocking, got to get it up in the air to investigate though

Understood. So Meyle are an ok brand for other bits as well?
Got Meyle HD droplinks all round and they seem pretty decent.
Bit of a faff to fit though as ball joints are considerably bigger than OEM and clearance is TIGHT to the lower control arm on the rears.

After a bit of reading on negative camber, I think I will go with the adjustables.
Stock is -0.5 on the fronts I believe so it would be quite a jump.
-1.5 is a lot it would seem, possibly more suited to track use?

-1.5 will be perfectly acceptable imo, especially on compliant chassis generally, -2 wouldn't be too much really, iirc the SP ones get to -1.8,

All sounds a bit extreme and I really am a fish out of water.
Got the Teins to go on, looking to drop by 10mm. Also got 5mm wheel spacers courtesy of @shiftspark.
Just trying to "fill the wheel arch" and continue improving suspension setup/ride/handling.
