Pistons should go back with reasonable ease, if they won’t without high force they’re probably binding internally due to some corrosion behind either seal and would need stripping and cleaning or service kit etc, maybe renewal.

Do the new drop links make a difference to the rear end?
Not so you would notice. Would need to change arb for a thicker one to feel any difference I think, not just the end links.
I changed them to try and get rid of knocking from rear end.
Unfortunately its still there. Passenger side. Over bumps.

Fitted pads today. Carriers just needed a damn good clean under the pad retaining clips.
Rust build up was stopping pads sliding in fully.
Was only a mm or 2 but made all the difference.
Wheels now rotate freely.

The braided hoses on the other hand I gave up on.
Original hoses were rusted to metal brake lines all round.
Didnt want to mess with them in case I broke something.
Can see myself sitting in a pool of brake fluid and tears.
Will leave it to the pros in case I need new metal brake lines too.
