Figures do look great, very Sprintex-like. Would be nice to see the power curve. What other mods on the GP? And how much was it making with the M45?

Why does Jan and all the other reputable mini tuners hate the M62 so much? I get it that there are better options (TVS 900 comes to mind), but there must be some other drawbacks than just their profit margins..?

it was shit for high load racing, the m45 held up very well due to it being a pump. All the race cars with m62s had bearing issues in the charger. Don’t see it being a problem on the street.

Is this shit still going on, none of us give a toss any more. M62 or TVS, fuck sake theres a bit more going in life than what charger to fit to a fucking mini.

I stopped giving enough of a toss I sold my Cooper S engine and put a Cooper NA engine back in. If I wanted decent power I'd buy a M140i or similar and take it to Evolve.
