As I say, the quote I got included head gasket and all the trimmings again, as I just had this done I thought I may as well wait until an issue occurs, even if ig ends up killing the engine completely it would still be more economically to buy a replacement than carry out the work for the sake of it.It's not the first time i see a piece of the piston skirt floating in the sump. But the piece on yours is rather large. You really have to schedule the repair for this.
RE002's are badass especially for the price range. They will defo be my go to tyre from now on and dare say the same will be going on again once these are bald, although 10k miles in there's absolutely no sign of any real wear yet.Luke - What do you think to the RE002's?
I'm still having a major faff over what wheels/tyres to get, deffo settled on 16s though...
