Hello all!

Just found the site from M/A over here and signed right up. We have an 06 JCW/S since new that we really enjoy driving all over the place. have a long list od mods and a short list of planned mods, ok so it's not that short :eek:hmy:

Anyway, one of the next mods will most likely be the GT Tuning header, any thoughts?

Cheers

I can't help but think of the south park episode lol, sorry

The GTT Header is simply a Janspeed Header with TIG welds instead of MIG. I wouldn't fork out to get one sent over to the states when you have better/cheaper options those being mynes/obx.
Welcome :)

As above really - just go for a Janspeed, same bang but for cheaper buck ! :)
Welcome to MT :D Car looks nice!

Gym - Tan - Laundry...

Thanks for the welcomes!

That was a great episode, really shot fun at those boneheads from the "Jersey Shore" show.

Aren't all those with cat welded in place, where as the GT is removable?

Does it really get dark enough for those spots? Welcome to the forum dude!!! :)

In regards to the manifolds, all aftermarket ones will need either a sports cat or a decat pipe. Only the stock one has the Cat attached.

Hope that helps, go with Mynes or Janspeed!!! :)

Also appreciating the Misfits face airfreshner ;)

The Janspeed has a removable cat too...

Yes, but some are welded on vs bolted.

Can't find a website for either, any links?

We are 138!
That second link is the first one I've seen welded.

janspeed is a bolt on so you can switch between decat and cat.

I'll pretend to know what the dragon is :p

Mr Jim is a teenager from mars!

You know I was thinking it looked odd but wasnt sure what it was about it  It also looks like a different cat is being used to the normal Janspeed sports cat... it wasnt available when i got my janspeed - only the 'normal' janspeed+sports cat...

TAIL OF THE DRAGON AT DEALS GAP, with 318 curves in 11 miles, is America's number one motorcycle and sports car road.
Keano, Jersey is in the US... shipping will be a bitch

Like i said look at OBX (Like £110 GBP on ebay!), Mynes yes you will need a welded in cat but a decent exhaust place should be able to do the trick.
Here is RDNZL....

Is that the Cravenspeed short shifter? Been thinking of getting one of these, how is it?

No, it's the B&M short shifter. The shiftwell is Cravenspeed. The shifter looks long with the cover, when I had the oem boot it looked shoter.

I also saw the Janspeed at Lohen website.

I think the OBX is like you get what you pay for kinda thing. I could do the welding myself but rather have one that I can replace with it craps out :)

Thanks for that  but it wont be any more than the GTT one the OP was looking at doing the same with.... ;)
