Also what's the consensus on the diverters and hood scoops to provide more cold air to the IC. Looks to me like I should be removing the works diverter on my GP IC and letting the bonnet mounted part do it's work? Have I got that wrong?

From looking at previous topics the voltage and m7 good scoops are apparently quite effective. But it would be nice to see some solid data.

Is there any chance of a de-cat'd R53 passing the MOT emissions level with a good remap, or even without? I know a cat has to be in place for the test (unless you have a friendly tester)

No not really, the tritec is a bit heavy even with a cat..

Mine was seeing about 1.5 - 3º C above ambient at 24º C outside just now. But these results are off the boost.
I do run the coolest water setup though :p
