Millers XF Longlife 5W 30 every 5000 miles

That's what I use and do, mines on 70k

Anything BMW LL04 approved/compliant will be fine. Some suggest moving to 5w40 grade oil (stock is 5w30) at higher miles. I did on my old R53.

Killer for these is the factory service intervals, never in a million years would I run one of these for 2 years/18k miles without an oil/filter change 😂😂😂

I use Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 Pure Plus fully synth.

I get it from Opie when they have deals on, last purchase was £24.96 for a 5 litre bottle and a 1litre with pouch. Great price which eases the pain when doing regular changes.
