I know this has come up a shit load of times in the past, but was there ever a conclusive answer to the question of why the coil pack terminals (cyl. 3 in particular) corrode like they do?
I've just noticed terminal 4 (which I thought was odd) on my pack has rusted considerably. I check the terminals on a regular basis to clean them and this has caught me completely by surprise, especially after the terminals were cleaned and ACF-50 applied to them not long ago.
Should I be using a more durable grease on the wire boots?
