I hope someone might be able to shed some light on this

I got in the car this morning around 6.45 and started the car as usual.
after about 2 miles down the road i noticed the clock still said 6:45 (not travelling at light speed)
when i got to work around 7.20 i noticed the clock still said 6:45 i also noticed the 2 dots :)) were not flashing i pressed the button to go to the miles done and saw the mls when i went back to the clock it still had the mls showing
I turned the engine off left it a few minutes turned the car back on and saw that the clock had jumped to 7:45 (even though it was 7:25) so i reset the clock to the correct time and sat and watched it for a minute or 2. The : was flashing then after about 30 seconds stopped and the time didnt advance.

Is there a way of fixing this or is it a case of buy a new pod or just ignore it and dont use the clock and retro fit a clock somewhere.

Cheers in advance for any help
