OK, so I am finally getting closer to my attempt at a hobo cooler with the best possible recovery.

I have come to the conclusion that tube & fin rather than bar & plate will recover better due to the smaller volume of metal to cool & am going this way but would like some help with a bit of additional info.

Is there anyone out there in internetland that can give me the dimensions of the core of the challenge intercooler so I know what I need to better?

I think general consensus is that stock/gp is best at recovery.

GP is just 2 standard coolers joined together with longer end tanks, so if you can mimic that, you're onto a winner.

I have the GP, it's two rows added at the rear that's all,
