Had a bearing go like that on my Mk5 Golf, was being picked up from Christmas party in West London at the time thankfully made it all the way back to Essex but was making a ridiculous racket!

forgot about that!

Ive managed to arrange a tow to the garage later to see if we can get to the bottom of it, I have decided however whatever happens I’m going to get rid of it, if it’s just a sensor then renew the sensor, get the performance and sporty bits off it and sell it as standard (may have to go with the teins on though if I can find cheap standard suspension)

if it’s a knacker, strip all the bits off and take the shell to the scrappy

The ride to hereford in the Skoda convinced me that I need a big comfy car again, seen a nice one on eBay but it’s a cat C so I’m going to ring Adrien flux to see what it’s going to cost to insure assuming it’s straight, saying that there are others in my price range that aren’t insurance job anyway
Shouldn't cost any more to insure, but they will pay out less in the event of a total loss.

So if it's a similar value to 'straight' ones then not worth the tag imo.
