Hey guys this is my build thread of my 2009 R56 Cooper.

This is my first car and I've set out to make it look nice as there's little to nothing you can do to these engines.

Mods so far:

Airlift V2 w/ Airlift Performance Struts
Rotiform 3 piece NUE splits 17x8 17x9
LCI Cooper S front bumper w/ coupe splitter
JCW 3 spoke steering wheel
Custom ODI MTB grip gear shifter
Backbox delete
Black headlight & taillight surrounds
JCW grille & black surrounds
Beltline blackout
LED reg plate lights
LED sidelights

How it currently stands:

Colour code the headlight surrounds de yoke the headlights plus some clear side repeaters and you will be on the right track
Indicator bulbs and front droplinks are on the to-do list. I don't really like CC parts on pepper white I prefer the black for contrast.
Powerflex polybush suspension parts and engine?
Cooper s spoiler?
De-chrome the lower bumper lights surrounds?
LCI Side scuttles that are black?
LED side scuttle indicators?
Strutbrace?
Panel filter for airbox?
Aero wiper blades?
Mini sports aerial?

Agree'd with bep phil CC'ing headlights look so much better. No one is a fan of panda eyes are they!?
Is a G-Wing over the top on a Cooper?
Looks great matey, look forward to the progress.

Nah a g wing isn't ott at all

Also quite like the panda eyes lol

Waheyy finally. I completely agree with CCing on other colours but on this colour I think black is acceptable.
Welcome to MT mate.

You were parked near me at the Gumball in Manchester on Sunday, I can't help thinking the front of yours was just too low!
Haha no way! I loved your car man we were talking about how sick it was as we were walking to the car and you drove past. Sounded mint.

Yep front is very low. Front's coming up a bit and rear is going down a bit :)

Did you see me go through the middle of it all with Josh Cartu's F12, 458, an R8, a 458 and Shmee?

I drove over the blue bridge and was in between them all hahahaha

Yeah I saw all them yeah stayed right till the end!

Hahaha that's so funny my mates were like nah just drive over the bridge and I said no and drove all the way round and then through. Wish I went over the bridge ?
Haha should have done, felt so, so wrong!
Anyone know if tyre art is removable? I'm on a stand for Mersey Mini on Sunday and fancy some tyre art to see what it's like and if I don't fancy it take it off.
Where you do the letters on the tyre with a special pen or ink or something, I've never used it. Was going to do 'Toyo' and 'Proxes' in white as I've seen it on a few cars and it looked alright.
