Hi all,

Picked up an '06 R53 Cooper S the other day and I'm slowly discovering a few bits that need attention.

I've noticed recently that my ASC button does nothing when pushed or held down in either direction. I have no ABS or ASC lights on the dash when key in the ignition either. Tyre pressure button seems to do nothing as well. I've checked all the fuses (I think) and I've scanned for codes with Torque Pro which shows nothing ( I've read might need to use a different reader?)

Any ideas before I go any further?

If you have no lights under any circumstances check for fuses blown, if not then it is likely you need the binnacle off as someone may have been a bit giggy with the warning lights!

Manual for you.
Ah brill, thanks for the quick response.

I did ponder this, would have thought it would throw at least one EML though..

No, just ASC/ABS.

Could easily be something daft like a wheel sensor and someone has blanked out the lights for sale time.
