Hi All

Been out of the Mini game for over 4 years now, after selling my old Astro Black R56.

I have recently bought an 08 Factory John Cooper Works in Pepper White and its awesome... However, despite the comprehensive Full service history, no signs of a decoke have been found.

I bought a decent baffled catch can, designed originally for a 335i and wonder how best to route it?

I have SM multiple emails about a Dual OCC never heard back so I purchased a 2 port can, something is better then nothing, right?

Here is how I have routed it

Non baffled side of the can is connected to the top of the rocker cover PCV port and the baffled side is on the inlet manifold PCV, now... I drove to Cardiff during the week and back and the can is empty? Have I installed this wrong?

Could it be because the inlet side is pretty much uphill, so a lot of vapours will hit the pipe wall & then drain back towards the engine?

Pull off the PCV outlet to see.
