I'm have a 2003 Cooper S. Started to get the oil light coming on. Not rpm dependant and not dependant on hard cornering or any rapid change in direction of the car. Checked the oil, all fine, but changed oil and filter anyway. No change. Changed the pressure sensor, no change in problem. Decided to disconnect the pressure sensor and I still get the problem. Light flashes on and off at random, even with the pressure sensor disconnected. If I move the wire around down by where the sensor is it makes no difference, so I assume this is an electrical problem, but elsewhere in the loom. I yet to obtain a wiring diagram to trace the track of the the sensor wiring, but thought I would post on here in the meantime to see if anyone has any ideas.

Any advice would be appreciated.
