    just upgraded cause I fried my i5-2500K system - 4.7ghz stable untill it died.

    You mean 3 Vertexes? Can't do a RAID3 with less than 3

    I would expect the HDDs to be maybe raid 3 and the SSD to be not raided

    correct HDD running raid 3 for large music files to enable a fast working environment , 2 ssd's running raid 0 for boot speed

    Theoretically a raid 0 SSD is nearly twice as fast - an average 5mb could take 20ms to be read, but with a second SSD in Raid 0 it can be read in half that time (10ms) of course you loose the benefit of TRIM alot with raid!

    Any SSD is basically a large Raid0 disk made from SSD memory chips. So doubling the amount of memory chips doubles the speed(and size obviously)
