I got a meter square on eBay a couple of years ago and still using it for things , it's only a couple of pounds for a decent amount . That stuff I had is 3mm thick but 1.5mm thick would be more suited .

Let me revive this thread !

So if i'm right, you have to stretch the K&N ru-3190 70mm flange up to 74mm to match the outside diameter of bulkhead Flange Connector ?
Is it easy to do ?

Iím in need of an air box, as I bought my R50 last year and if came with the K&N fitted, but air box was gone!!

Itís only recently that Iíve found, having the airbox is better than not having it, so Iím would anyone here have an old spare I can clean up and use the bottom half of please?

I have just done the cone in top half of air box mod above and can only recommend it.

I didn't enlarge the rear feed in the bottom half of the box and will wait to see if it's needed when my 17% pulley is fitted.

Totally off topic, a question for all R50 owners. What level does your coolant overflow bottle run at, and do you ever find yourself having to top it up?

My R50 would use nothing for ages then the whole bottle when the system purged

I seem to get a lot of condensation in the bottle which collects on the cap and then runs down the outside. You don't by any chance know if the pressure cap is a standard fitment by any chance do you?
