So one of the problems with my new bumper is the fog lights not being were they need to be.

There was two options thanks to the replys from members on this forum. Remove them or reposition them.

I chose the first option! I also found some cheap gloss black subwoofer ports from China for 1.80 each so I picked two up crossing my fingers the measurements were correct......and indeed they were.

After removing the fog lights I wrapped both sets of wiring in a plastic baggy and cable tie, to help prevent any water getting in.

I have to say the result is pleasing and far nicer. Minus the ride height and dirtyness (Only come back off of holiday not long ago)

For anyone interested the fogs weigh around 220g each, so your removing just under half a kilo of weight.

How long are the woofer ports? Do they stick out the back of the bumper far enough to get some flex duct and a clamp on?

Yes mate there 10cm long. But I hacksawed them down as I just needed the trumpet part. I have ordered a 3rd one as at some point I may try and make up a ghetto cold air feed.

    Link below for you sir.

The weather has been very nice, SO, let's break out the rattle cans! I always seem to have black and clear coat laying around

The side indicator trims and the cowling vents seem to have this awful greying and frankly I was fed up of applying trim restorer.

    Before!

    After!

Very happy with the result it's not body shop standards but then it's cost me nowt! So am over the moon.

I couldn't find gloss black versions of these anywere, chrome ones yes but I didn't want any more bling and hydro dipped indicator trims are like 30+

    Plus..... Getting prepped for this

Had some free time this afternoon so I've made a start of removing all rear seat bits and pieces. Ready for carpeting.

These T50 bolts were a bastard to remove, so a bit of brute force and a spare length of copper did the trick.

And by my stupid fat ham like hands I broke a C pillar trim. It was my fault and my stupidity I should have removed the rear trim as the c pillar trims appear to push into slots in the metal work.

    eBay to the rescue!!

Put the carpet in the car

Not 100% sure how I'm going to go about it. But I have a vague idea. I'll deffo tuck it rather than use adhesive. I'll be cracking on with it this weekend

eBay is good for sourcing replacement trim panels. I needed a b pillar when I replaced my headliner.
