This week the clubby is over with Millsy to get the the cage mounts weld in and cage fitted, yellowspeed front brake kit fitted, fJCW exhaust on and airbag warnings coded out.

Today he sent me a couple of progressmpics of the mounts in and painted in primer. Once dry they will be getting a coat of matt black so if they show through the carpet they dont stand out.

Cant wait to see it with the cage in

More pics as they come in will be posted.

I know big J knows his stuff and he's probably done it already, but check he's given inside the cage mounts a blast of cavity wax. This'll stop them rusting from the inside out

Well its back, Millsy as usual done a spot on job of getting the clubby sorted.
    -Factory JCW exhaust fitted
-Airbag warnings coded out alongside it being coded for fJCW brembo brakes as this makes a difference when fitting bigger brakes
    -Yellowspeed BBK fitted
-R53 safety devices cage cut down to fit in an R56 with sunroof, fitted to an R55, he's good

    First off the cage:

Front brakes fitted, just painted the rears after taking these pictures:

Factory JCW exhaust makes such a better noise:

Love this shot of the front end:

And had a couple of people asking about the double din install, here are some better pics:

Next up I need to sort a steering wheel and some harnesses.

Neglected the thread a little lately. Not lots of progress, plenty of small bits.

Firstly I fitted the JCW alcantara seats which are so much better than the fixed bucket.

I also purchased a used header tank on here which had seen better days. Easily cleaned up and wrinkle coated, much better:

I also have both the intercooler resonator delete and noise generator delete pipes ready to fit:

Some further upgrades to the clubby from Orranje which include an OMP WRC Wheel and boss which I fitted yesterday. I went for leather with a red stitch as I thought this would be more practical on more of a daily car over the suede wheel which can get dirty quickly from the grease on your hands. I also purchased the red horn sticker to match.

The red stitching matches perfectly with the stitching on the dash/gaiters etc

I've also ordered my harnesses, again through Orranje, not cheap but safety comes first. The are the same ones I have in the R53 so fully road legal and I know I can live with them:

I also have a set of Rennline RS style door pulls to fit, went for black with a red strap:

Next up today I fitted two silicone pipes, a noise generator delete pipe and the intercooler pipe resonator delete, both from Ikon Motorsports in red. Both pretty easy to fit, only issue was the screw holding the resonator in place is a bugger to undo due to lack of space but all sorted:

Which make of wrinkle paint did you use, as the finish looks really good.
