    Can't see how an ignition pack can crack the cover, sure you didn't overtighten..?

    The inserts are indented into the rocker cover, its not an un-common issue.
    sometimes (most of the time) I sit back and I think to myself, fucking MINI's...

    I use the same inserts to support my intake and haven't had any issues, the aren't oil proof though, some sort of a rubber washer might help out

    For 30 quid all in. Not too devastating

    Replace the spark plug tube seals while you have the valve cover off I bought mine from 1320 mini, valve cover gasket and seals come together
