Mini 1st Gen How to Dechrome Your Belt Line With Paint

If you are sick of beltline tape peeling etc, give this a go. Did mine this week, waiting to see how long it lasts:

Mine shrank to the point it needed re-doing just before mitp last year so I removed it and never put it back. I've got the gear to do it, just not bothered

    Ditto!

Should remove the rear one when cleaning the car in winter as it gets caked.

Do the door trim seal against the window? If i remove them before washing the car am i going to drown the doors?

Thought so. The rear, sides and front don't create a seal though do they?

Nope so your fine with those being off, as the glass is stuck in place for each of those so that seals them
